AXEL HOTELS GO TO NEW YORK

Axel Hotels – the Spanglish gay hotel chain – is taking its straight-friendly concept to New York City’s grittering Hell’s Kitchen.

Axel Hotels was the first hotel chain aimed at the gay community (obviously they’ve never been to the Philbeach) and have hotels in Barfelona, Berlin and Buenos Aires, and are popularma with uber-gayers, clinking the Cava and ooh la la let’s go to Matinee. Ya get me? The receptionists at Axel Barthelona are worth the Easyjet ticket just to see.

Axel aims to have sound-proofed rooms, in-hotel spas, fitness centres and bars in all of its hotels. Guests are given the choice between “Do Not Disturb” sign or a “Please Disturb” sign.

The hotel’s founder, Juan Julia said: “Axel’s main distinction is the spectacularambianceandtheperceptionofthegueststhattheyarelivingauniqueexperiencein aframeworkofrespectwherenooneisjudginganyone.”

And breathe.

The chain is also planning three more developments in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Miami.

Why do you have to bitch about parties you don't want to go to?

    Bitter old queen much?
  • Why don't they just call it MUSCLE MARY HOTELS?

Hey - that's neat. Have nice day.
  • Since when was "grittering" a word? If you're homovision, looking to create something different, how does that include printing press releases from companies?
