Britney Britney Britney. The hype surrounding the star’s visit to London was like Christ’s second coming – but with bigger eye-lashes and longer hair extensions.
Her first performance on X-factor was OK-ish – there’s nothing wrong with miming – we didn’t expect anything else:
But the fact that 1) she didn’t show the slightest interest in any of the other performers; 2) was unable to string together a sentence and 3) gave as much charisma as a fridge-freezer left many people feeling let-down – especially as ITV1 had been hyping up the show for a number of weeks. Was a three-minute performance really worth all that hype? Definitely not.
Later on that night, the G-A-Y punters were packing Heaven on the rumour that Britney would be making an appearance there. Our secret squirrel down at Heaven – said the whole experience was just like her X-factor performance – a huge disappointment.
“After queueing for over an hour to get in, we found the main dancefloor packed. You couldn’t move. The worst thing was the fact that people were just pushing more and more. They were dragging people out from the front of the crowd because of the pushing. After about 30 minutes I couldn’t stand it anymore so I tried to stand around the side but it was a nightmare,” he said.
“Jeremy Joseph eventually came on stage saying that Britney wouldn’t be performing that night but would be appearing in another room – it felt like a huge con. Every one started booing, but people still [READ MORE]

Well as a media man, I was told she was going to be on stage about midnight. I was told on THURS and invited by Heaven management!
Jeremys apology is ok, but I think he seriously has to look at those around him who seem to be putting the boot in cause they dont like the way he is running things…..Watch this space.
Oh Daer, have we really sunk so low as to stand around chanting the name of some washed out has been singer whose life has turned into a drug filled dream, just shows what lemmings go to GAY – ugh the youth of today…
Who caresJeremy can’t get it right everytime.I queued for hours the first time five years back that she was supposed to come(before her breakdown)and the cow still never bothered to show.Like ive said time and time again G-A-Y is a club not a concert venue. If people want to see acts in a controlled environment then hey go see her in concert instead of being cheap and wanting it for free or 7 quid.
People also need to be less selfish and stop with the pushing and shoving when acts are appearing, its dangerous and not acceptable.Instead of watching people being ill and over heating help them through the crowd instead of being selfish and not moving incase somebody gets ur space.
Finally if you don’t like what happend Saturday then simple don’t go again,im sure there are plenty of people who wil take your place and accepy g-a-y for what it is…A NIGHTCLUB!
P.S The women who are moaning they travelled 200 miles just to come see her need to shut the hell up.Wait til she comes to a venue near you instead of complaining.
Naturally I believe every word Jeremy says. I mean, why wouldn’t you? Similarly, I don’t believe those rumours about gay bashings inside Heaven – not until someone comes to me with evidence. What is thist? Fire? px
