DICKIE BEAU AT THE RVT

Last night we RVTd it to see the David Hoyle extravaganza. Boy George was there. Nice. “Fuck capitalism, fuck gyms, kill parents”. You know the score.

But without doubt, the star of the show was mime artist Dickie Beau. A techno problem meant that a film of him miming had no audio. Something like this – but with no sound. Ya get me?

But he stepped up and did the audio to the video. And it was flawless. He didn’t miss a word. Pure genius.

Later on he sung something. With his video mime. In French. Loved it.

Oh, we hate gushing. But we tell you now. Dickie Beau is a genius. And for us, last night’s technological disaster was the best thing that happened. It proved to the world that Dickie Beau has got a lot more going on than we can sometimes see.
