MR GAY CHINA
News by HOMOVISION on December 11, 2009 at 9:44 am
Yep. Another day, another gay China story. For a country that traditionally kept gayers locked in the closet, its becoming surprisingly more homo-friendly. Ish.
Next year, ahead of Mr Gay World *no comment*, Mr Gay China will take place on January 15th in a club in Beijing. Ben Zhang, founder of China’s leading gay media website gayographic.org told AFP:
“There will be sportswear and swimsuit segments, a Q&A session, and a panel of judges will select the winner based on overall performance.”
“Being homosexual, in general we get a lot of discrimination everywhere, so we are not going to discriminate against any contestants,” he added.
The contest will be open to anyone who lives in China, including foreigners.
