HOT NEWS: SALVATION GOES EAST

Salvation – the Sunday night superclub that once packed in punters at central London’s glittertassletic Cafe de Paris is thought to be moving to a new home in London’s urm… Limehouse.

Since leaving the Cafe de Paris in 2006 to become an unsuccessful Saturday nighter at Vauxhall’s Renaissance Rooms, Salvation has been a bit of a nomad – shifting venues with the seasons. However, it recently returned to form with some seriously successful parties at London’s Hippodrome – a venue which unfortunately now will be turned into a casino. How depressing.

Salvation’s new home will be at the Troxy (yes – that’s how it’s spelt) in Limehouse, just off the DLR. It’s a former 1930’s art deco theatre with “with a massive capacity of 2500, amazing VIP balcony, more cloakrooms & friendly security”.

Their next London party will be on Sunday 12th April – Easter Weekend.

Please! Salvation is about West End glamour, not curry and eyeliner!
  • How cool! Another treasure in the growing glory of East London. And with Stunners just around the corner it could well become a pretty eclectic mix! And just not mentioning the diversion across the road in the form of the local East End sauna...
