VIDEO: BRAZILIAN PRIEST FILMED HAVING SEX WITH ALTAR BOY

Authorities in Brazil have begun an investigation into three priests after SBT TV aired part of a sexual encounter between an 82 year old priest and a 19 year old altar boy.

Priests Luis Marques Barbosa, Raimundo Gomes (52), and Father Edilson Duarte (42) have been suspended from the Church for allegedly having sexual relations with boys and young men.

The TV report also included interviews with young men who said that the three men had been abusing young boys for years.

SBT – the station which broadcast the footage – said that the film was secretly recorded by a 21 year old man who had been abused by Barbosa since he was twelve. They also say that the sex tape had been sent to them anonymously, after which they begun their own investigation.

A SBT reporter raised the allegations with the priest. When asked whether he’d ever committed a sin and whether the region has problems with paedophilia, Barbosa responds: “Who has never committed a sin? I think it is more (a problem) of homosexuality than paedophilia.”

Bishop Valerio Breda in the Penedo archdiocese wrote: “We reproach, without restriction and with hearts broken by shame and sadness, the facts in the report which, despite their not having been proven, have outraged human and Christian conscience.”

Which basically means they cocked up big time.

The Bishop also added that none of the alleged victims had ever contacted the church regarding the abuse.
