VIDEO: WANNA HEAR ABOUT (YET ANOTHER) GAY BASHING?

A man has been sentenced to 32 years in jail today after the murder of a gay man and violently attacking his partner in their home.
Murderer David Kilcullen visited the home of victim Gerry Edwards and Chris Bevan hoping to steal their car. Hearing Edward’s screams, Bevan rushed to the kitchen to find Kilcullen holding a knife.
Bevan described how he and his partner laid quietly on the kitchen floor as directed by Kilcullen, before his attacker crouched down and knifed them repeatedly. Bevan then staggered from the kitchen into the lounge before collapsing into an armchair. There Kilcullen began to beat him around the head with several glass bottles.
Despite surviving the attack, Mr Bevan suffered “catastrophic” injuries.

Mr Kilcullen had previously been to their flat and given the impression he found it “distasteful” that the two men were partners, it was claimed in court.
Reports of homophobic attacks in London have risen in the last year. Mayor Boris Johnson, seemingly unaware about the attacks at a speech at London Pride earlier this year, has since made reducing these attacks one of his key priorities.
